From Nest to Flight: Booktern
Reading a book is like the flight of a river tern, curious, unexpected, and full of wonder. We brought the book and the bird together to create Booktern, a joyful leap from imagination to action.
What began as a passion project launched by young writers with a simple goal: to create a reading magazine that soars, has grown into a movement in just four years.
With over 700 school partnerships, we now help classrooms across India combine storytelling with real-world learning.
In 2025, we’re exploring themes that matter:

Health for body and mind Waste management that inspires change Water conservation that values every drop And there’s more to come, with new topics launching throughout the year.
